Between sea, nature and Sicilian tradition

Saint Agatha of Militello

Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and framed by the Nebrodi Mountains, Sant'Agata di Militello is one of the most authentic and evocative destinations in northern Sicily. Its waterfront offers splendid views of the Aeolian Islands, while the village retains the tranquil and authentic atmosphere of ancient Sicily. Strolling through the streets of the town center, you'll discover small shops, traditional eateries serving fresh fish and almond pastries, and the modern marina, a departure point for boat trips and mini cruises to the Aeolian Islands. Just a few minutes' drive away is the Nebrodi Park, Sicily's green lung, with lakes, trails, and breathtaking views.

Capo d'Orlando

One of the most renowned seaside resorts on the Tyrrhenian coast, with golden beaches, seaside clubs, and elegant boutiques.
Its panoramic lookout offers a unique view of the Aeolian Islands, and daily hydrofoils depart from the port for Lipari and Vulcano. The Bay of San Gregorio and its sandy beaches are a must for sea lovers.

San Marco d'Alunzio

Perched at 548 meters between the Nebrodi Mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea, San Marco d'Alunzio is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy: stone alleys, medieval churches, and spectacular coastal views. Perfect for an afternoon of history and sunsets. It's about 14 km from Sant'Agata (a 15–20-minute drive).

Aeolian Islands

Seven volcanic islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi, and Alicudi. From the nearby port of Milazzo, hydrofoils and ferries (Liberty Lines/Siremar) depart daily with quick crossings: for example, Milazzo → Vulcano ~40–50 min, Milazzo → Lipari ~45 min. During the high season, connections are also available from Capo d'Orlando. It's the perfect excursion, with turquoise sea, seaside villages, and trekking on the craters.

Tindari

Famous for the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna and the enchanting Lake Marinello, nestled between sea and myth, it also boasts the ancient remains of the Greco-Roman theater of Tyndaris, one of Sicily's most fascinating archaeological sites.

Cefalù

One of Italy's most iconic villages, dominated by the majestic Norman Cathedral (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Cefalù combines sea and history in a unique atmosphere, with medieval alleys, harborside restaurants, and spectacular sunsets over the Rocca.

Milazzo

Coastal town with a charming old village and the main starting point for excursions to the Aeolian Islands.

Taormina

The "pearl of the Ionian," famous for its Greek Theater overlooking Mount Etna and the sea, its luxury boutiques, and panoramic terraces. A perfect excursion for those who want to experience the sophisticated and sophisticated atmosphere of the eastern coast.

Palermo

Valley of the Temples

A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, it is at its best at dawn and dusk; during the summer months, there are also evocative evening openings with illuminated pathways.

Among the most picturesque routes are Lake Maulazzo and Lake Biviere, at the foot of Monte Soro (1847 m), the highest peak of the Nebrodi: itineraries suitable for everyone, perfect for walks, trekking and picnics in nature.

Etna, the Volcano

Europe's highest active volcano, Mount Etna, is a natural spectacle that speaks to the power and beauty of Sicily. From its snow-capped peak in winter to its smoking craters and lunar landscapes, every visit offers unique experiences. You can easily reach Etna from Sant'Agata di Militello via Catania or Linguaglossa, choosing from guided hikes, nature treks, or cable car tours. Along the way, it's worth stopping at Etna wineries to discover the renowned DOC wines produced on volcanic soil.
